Intimate Salzburg weddings & mountain elopements

Get married at Schloss Mirabell. Celebrate in the mountains.

An elegant civil wedding in Salzburg.
Personal vows with the mountains as your backdrop.
One wedding story, two extraordinary settings.

Imagine making it official in the beautiful Marble Hall of Schloss Mirabell, then swapping the city for mountain air, breathtaking scenery and a sunset you'll remember for years.

Just the two of you, or with a handful of your favourite people.

I'm Irina, a mountain wedding and elopement photographer, and I've already had the pleasure of capturing this very special combination.

Now I'd love to help you create your own version of it.

From the Marble Hall to a mountain sunset

A real wedding story at Schloss Mirabell & Hochkönig

A German couple travelled to Salzburg for their intimate civil wedding at Schloss Mirabell.

After the ceremony, we took time for photographs among the beautiful architecture of the palace. Elegant portraits, genuine emotions and those little moments that make a wedding feel so personal.

But my favourite part of their story happened the following day.
The newlyweds were spending their honeymoon at Jufenalm in the Hochkönig region. With beautiful mountain weather on our side, they slipped into their wedding outfits once more.

Against a backdrop of towering peaks, they read their personal vows to each other.

Then we walked up to Prinzensee, where we photographed until the sun disappeared behind the mountains.

No audience. No elaborate production. Just two people, their promises and a pretty extraordinary place to celebrate being married.

And the photographs? They tell a story that no quick registry office session ever could.

Their experience unfolded over two days. With the right ceremony time, location and season, yours could even happen in one.

Here is their story
With guests or without - it's your big day

Beautiful photographs are one thing. Actually enjoying the day is another.

The mountains are spectacular. Schloss Mirabell is stunning.

But neither matters quite as much as what happens between you.

The nervous excitement before saying yes. The way you reach for each other's hand. The laughter when something doesn't go quite to plan. That quiet moment when you realise you're married.

Those are the photographs you'll come back to.

My approach is relaxed and documentary, with gentle direction when you need it. You won't spend your wedding day performing for my camera.

And because mountain photography comes with its own challenges, I'll help you think through the details that matter: realistic travel times, beautiful light, accessible locations and alternative plans when the weather changes its mind.

You don't have to figure out how to make the photographs happen. You get to enjoy the moments worth photographing.

One beautiful experience.
Your own way of living it.
Want to get married in the morning and head into the mountains that afternoon? Let's explore it.

Prefer to celebrate with your family after the ceremony and meet me later for personal vows at sunset? Absolutely.

Or would you rather take two days, with the palace on one and the mountains on the other?
All three are possible ways to shape your photography experience.

And for the winter lovers?
Married by lunchtime. Skiing by afternoon.

  • A little about your photographer

    Hi, I'm Irina.

I photograph intimate weddings for couples who care more about experiencing their day than following a wedding-day checklist.

The mountains are a huge part of both my life and my work. I know that getting beautiful photographs outdoors takes more than finding a pretty viewpoint.

It's about understanding the light, allowing enough time, being prepared when conditions change and knowing when to simply let a moment happen.

And I love that I get to combine that experience with the elegance and atmosphere of a place like Schloss Mirabell.

Because you deserve photographs that are beautiful, yes.

But even more importantly, you deserve to remember how good it felt to be there.

A few things worth knowing
