Your wedding isn’t a template — and neither is the photography

Some weddings follow traditions.

Others follow intention, a feeling.

Mountain weddings often begin with the wish to slow down, stay present, and shape the day around what truly matters — whether that’s an intimate ceremony, time outdoors, shared experiences, or planning around the best light instead of a strict schedule.

I work with couples who care less about fitting into a template and more about how their wedding day feels — and who want photography that follows the experience, not the other way around.

How I photograph wedding days

My approach is documentary and natural — focused on real moments as they unfold.

I don’t direct your day, stage emotions, or turn your wedding into a production. I step in only when guidance is helpful, and step back as soon as the moment belongs to you.

You never have to perform for the camera — and you’ll never be rushed through moments that matter.

This balance is what allows honest, emotional images to happen.

Tailored PACKAGES — because no two celebrations are alike

I don’t work with fixed packages.

Mountain weddings vary too much in rhythm, locations, and flow for a "one-size-fits-all" approach to make sense. Some celebrations are intimate and focused around a single moment. Others unfold across a full day, multiple locations, or even over more than one day — sometimes shaped by sunrise, sunset, or shared experiences in between.

Together, we create a coverage plan that fits your wedding naturally, without forcing it into predefined hours or expectations.

If you’re looking for rigid packages or a highly staged approach, I might not be the right photographer — and that’s completely okay.

Irina photographed our mountain wedding in July, and we couldn't be happier.
Irina is an incredible person, and her work reflects that perfectly. Unobtrusive, professional, loving, genuine, and authentic. We felt comfortable and at ease with her from day one.
From the initial consultations to our big day, everything went perfectly. The pictures are more beautiful than we could have hoped. Not just captured moments, but emotions and feelings. We would and will always choose Irina again. I absolutely recommend her.

Weddings that feel like an experience — not just an event
Many couples I work with plan weddings that include:
  • mountain hikes or cable cars
  • boat rides on alpine lakes
  • hut dinners or outdoor celebrations
  • welcome days or farewell brunches
  • relaxed couple time away from guests
These elements change how a wedding day unfolds - and how it should be photographed.
I love weddings that move, breathe and unfold naturally.

Local knowledge & trusted partners

Over the years, I’ve built strong relationships with mountain venues, planners, florists and experience-based partners in the regions I work in.

When it’s helpful, I’m happy to share trusted contacts or point you in the right direction — especially if you’re planning from abroad or organising something a little different.

You don’t need to know everything upfront.
That’s part of what I’m here for.
